On a personal note, I am a survivor of the Atomic Bomb which was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan on August 6th, 1945. On that day my mother was two months pregnant with me. My parents\' escape from that horrible fate was truly unbelievable and it has had a profound impact on the purpose of my life.
When I was invited to 51st Session of The United Nations\' Commission on the Status of Women in March 2007, I was fortunate to be called upon for "The Sacred Womens\' Circle". Women have been gathering in the sacred circle for thousands of years. The women of the Hopi Tribe in the South Western part of the United States of America still gather in the sacred circle like many do around the globe, to remind us that at one time the truth was known by all. The truth is about the tribe; community and family without separation. It is time to mend the "The Sacred Women\'s Circle," recognizing ourselves as a circle, complete and whole under the divine spirit of the universe. This is the essence of IAM-CED.org.
We thank you very much for your continued support and participation. Women and children in remote areas of the world will benefit by receiving the education to develop, communicate and empower themselves. Together, we can complete the circle.
Sincerely Yours,
Machiko Malkah Conway
